CARE ASSISTANTS

(full and part time working day or night shift)

We are recruiting for passionate and committed Care Assistants to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis – with day or night shifts available.

Our approach is not just meeting the care needs of residents but exceeding their expectations and ensuring their health, wellbeing and interests are always of paramount importance.

Your main responsibility will be to provide personal care for our residents, attending to their needs by recognising and facilitating their individual requirements.

You’ll also be closely involved in the general activities of the home and will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, staff members, and visitors. Your daily routine will be as varied as the needs of the people you are looking after.

Applicants must have a genuine interest in working with elderly residents within a caring environment. Applicants should be able to communicate effectively and fluently at all levels. A satisfactory DBS check applies to this role.

(RGN) REGISTERED GENERAL NURSE

(full or part time working day or night shift)

The successful candidate must have good communication skills, be motivated to offer the highest standards of care and be able to undertake all appropriate aspects of nursing care, as required.

The role can be full-time or part-time with the option to work day or night shift. Responsibilities will include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for specified residents to ensure continuity of care and to take management responsibility for a shift as directed.

This role also requires experience in overseeing nurse assignments, preparing schedules and monitoring and ordering medicines and supplies.

Applicants will be qualified RGN and will have a genuine interest in working with the elderly. Current NMC registration is necessary, and a DBS check also applies to this position.

Experience in care for the elderly and previous supervisory experience would be advantageous.

ACTIVITIES CO-ORDINATOR

(full and part time working day shift)

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Activities Co-ordinator to join our team. The role is for day shift, with full-time and part-time shifts available.

Applicants for this position must have a genuine interest in working with the elderly and demonstrate the ability to engage with residents and their families.

Previous experience in planning and delivering a stimulating and varied programme of activities, outings, and events is desirable along with the ability to organise our team to assist.

Developing strong links with the local community, schools, businesses and building a network of volunteers to enhance and enrich the residents’ daily living experience is important for this role. A satisfactory DBS check applies to this position.


HOUSEKEEPING ASSISTANTS

(full and part time working day shift)

We are looking to recruit full-time and part-time Housekeeping Assistants to work day shift.

Successful candidates will work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness of linen, towels and residents’ personal clothing, and to ensure an adequate supply of these items.

You will also work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the home, whilst ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Experience of working within an elderly care environment would be advantageous but is not essential for this role.
