At The Fleet Care Home, we continue to take every chance to venture outside and take advantage of everything the surrounding area has to offer. These outings add variety, pleasure, and a sense of connection to the world around us, making them an important component of everyday life.

Exploring Together

Every trip is thoughtfully organised with our residents in mind, from leisurely walks in neighbouring parks to trips to local cafés and points of interest. Every journey, no matter how long or brief, has something to offer. Residents take pleasure in travelling to new locations, seeing familiar sights , and sharing theses experiences with both staff and friends.

Before leaving, there's usually a lovely feeling of anticipation, which is followed by smiles, laughter, and enthusiastic discussions. These occasions frequently develop into treasured recollections that we discuss long after we get back home.

There is much more to spending time in the community than just a change of scenery. While visiting new or old locations can improve emotions and offer beneficial mental stimulation, fresh air and light exercise promote both physical health and general well-being.
