The Fleet Care Home is an all-inclusive, luxury care home situated in the scenic seaside town of Dartmouth, Devon. Resident can spend their days quietly reading a book in our library, or getting a hair makeover at our hair salon; however our residents choose to spend their time, we provide plenty of opportunities for residents to live well.
Our dedicated Activity Coordinators work hard to ensure that residents enjoy partaking in a variety of activities. They create an interesting weekly activity programme for our residents to join in on the fun. We get to understand our residents’ likes and dislikes to ensure the activities, events and trips out into Devon meet their expectations. We also take new suggestions on board so that we can keep improving and satisfy every resident.
Positioned along the beautiful coast of Devon, residents can enjoy the stunning scenery over the River Dart and the many coves and harbours dotted along the coastline. If residents want to travel further afield into the City of Exeter they can do so, and thanks to our on-site chauffeur-driven Mercedes, residents can ride in style with this fantastic service.
The dementia team at The Fleet Care Home has received ongoing, specialist dementia care training in order to support people living with dementia. Our staff treats each of our residents living with dementia as the person they are, tailoring their specialist care to an individual’s specific requirements, interests and abilities.
We get to know our residents and loved ones in order to understand the lives they have lived previously and to ensure their overall health and well-being is being looked after. Many dementia care homes including our own offer alternative therapies and activities to ensure individuals can have fun in a safe and supportive environment.

Our nursing home provides superb nursing care 24 hours a day, seven days a week for all residents who are in need of medical care and personal care from a qualified nurse. Our nursing home staff is made up of skilled and experienced professionals. Nursing care is greatly beneficial for those with high dependency needs, a physical disability, long-term illnesses and palliative care for those at end of life.
Each resident is allocated their own nurse, in order to provide a familiar face to residents and their families, and who will provide assistance with personal care and administer medical treatment.
