Our Approach at The Fleet Care Home

The Fleet Care Home is proud to offer a home where person-centered care is delivered in a setting that allows for first-class living quality. We believe we are more than just a care home, we are a community of passionate professionals who aim to provide a warm, friendly, and loving environment as well as a luxurious lifestyle that is both enriching and satisfying.

Led by our Home Manager and Deputy Manager, we have a team of Registered General Nurses, Senior Carers and Health Care Assistants who offer residential, nursing, dementia and palliative care support for up to 39 residents. More than just satisfying care needs, our approach focuses on the overall comprehensive health of each resident. Our highly trained and motivated team is proud of the excellent standard of care they provide day and night.

Care Tailored to Your Needs

We work in partnership with residents and their families to develop an individualised care plan, ensuring everyone receives the right level of care for their needs. We have a highly experienced team who are supported to develop a holistic set of skills and experiences, that actively encourages independence, respect and dignity at all times. Here at The Fleet Care Home, we do everything we can to make certain that we are caring for each individual as a whole, by talking with residents and their loved ones about what their needs are in order to develop an accurate care plan that is entirely tailored to their needs.

Consistency of Care

We use a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) approach to resident care, which allows us to give a comprehensive medical evaluation by bringing together doctors from many disciplines in an organised manner. This approach to care means we are fully equipped to deliver superior and individualised care to each resident. Following an initial evaluation, residents will continue to benefit from regular assessments to ensure they are receiving the most suitable and consistent care possible. We recognise that the traditional care model has to continually evolve, therefore our team members are inspired to look for areas that can be improved.

An Exciting Chapter

It’s important to us that The Fleet feels like home right from the beginning. The décor and furnishings throughout our home have been carefully selected with our residents in mind, helping residents feel at ease, relaxed, happy and most importantly, feel at home. We believe that making the decision to move to our home should mark the beginning of a new and exciting chapter, one that allows residents to feel confident and happy while retaining as much independence as possible.
